Minnesota Farmhouse Living

The Farmhouse at The Two Silo Winery is a perfect getaway from the city – Relax, sip wine and stay in our countryside farmhouse. Two Silo Farmhouse is nestled on 22 acres in Grant, Minnesota. It is the perfect setting to get together with family and friends, escape the busy city, or doze off under twinkling stars. The view is stunning no matter the season and is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway at a working vineyard. We retained the farmhouse’s rustic charm, which includes the dairy cattle milking parlor and countryside grainery. Both of which have been there for over 100 years. The last three animals on the farm were Pete and Pat, resident donkeys and a large Newfoundland puppy named Crosby.

Besides the cozy rooms and comfortable shared spaces, the property is home to the signature windmill and two silos, our inspiration for the name. The old dairy farm outbuildings have been restored.  And what makes the farmhouse stay very special – you have a winery and tasting barn in your back yard!

Two Silo winery’s tasting barn is open to the public to enjoy our artisan crafted wines – come in for a tasting, a glass or bottle of wine.

Plus for our guests during their stay at the farmhouse, our concierge at Two Silo can arrange  special activities just for you – private dinners, private tastings, even hosting small weddings.

Come for the view and stay for the wine!

What Our Guests Are Saying

“This place is absolutely stunning! The home is very clean and decorated to the nines! The rooms are spacious and the beds are amazingly comfortable. The master bedroom overlooks the incredible vineyard. The owners left us the most delicious raspberry pie and a beautiful bouquet of flowers!”

“Spacious farmhouse, surrounded by a beautiful vineyard. Just a short drive from White Bear Lake but far enough away from the main traffic. Everything has been modernized in the property. Jan and her family are nearby and very helpful. Had a nice lunch down at Tally’s Dockside and Connor took good care of us. It was quite a heatwave for the weekend so keep in mind that there is no a/c in the house. Otherwise is was a great family weekend and we look forward to returning.”

“What an incredible place to stay! Clean, welcoming, homey, well decorated and open concept, perfect for larger groups. Each room was charming and cozy along with clean, updated bathrooms. The kitchen is literally to die for and the screened-in porch is one of my favorite parts. The outside is breathtaking. Wine vines, rolling hills, Adirondack chairs to sit and drink a glass of wine while others play croquet. Fully-stocked and had a lot of back up supplies just in case. They also left us a delicious cake and some coffee from their bakery in town. That was the cherry on top! We will for sure be going back as soon as we make our way to the midwest again.”

“A fresh pie was waiting for us when we arrived and the house and property were spectacular. The screened-in porch was amazing for an additional gathering space or a quiet cup of coffee. Our son’s wedding was in Sillwater and it was an easy drive and away from the busyness of the city. We had 10 people stay very comfortably and the open first floor plan made for plenty of room to hang out. We had people in and out getting ready for the wedding and all were impressed. One said ‘We should have had the wedding here.’ Jan was very responsive to any questions and the instructions for use of the house were very helpful. We would go back there with a group again, but would want to spend more time at the property!”
